A Study on the Evaluation of the Health Status of the Industrial Workers by C.M.I.

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was designed to evaluated the health status of the industrial workers in Mokpo city, and to contribute to the improvement of industrial workers of primary health care.
217 were randomly sampled, and the Cornell Medical Index was applied to the data gathered form February 15th through 22th, 1988.
The results was as fellows:
1. More than 50% of the industrial workers have physical health problems because of eye, dizzness, common cold and headache in order named.
2. More than 50% of the industrial workers have mental problems because of anger inadequacy sensitivity tension, anxiety and depression in order named.
3. Physical and Mental Complaints among unmarried persons higher than those among married persons, and the analysis reveled a significant difference. (P < 0.05 , P < 0.001).
4. There ware no significant differences among age, religion, education level and form of a family.
